Rokid International Limited and its affiliates (“We”, “Our”, or “Us”) provides innovative augmented reality services and products through our websites, applications, content, hardware, and software. This Privacy Policy will explain the purposes of the processing, the identity of the controller, and the existence of the rights of the data subjects.

By using Hi Rokid, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set in this Privacy Policy. 1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Data
In order to fulfil the purposes and functions described below in this Privacy Policy, we will collect and process your personal data based on your consent or other legal basis, as detailed in the following scenarios:
(1) Account Registration
When you register for an account, we will collect the following personal data: E-mail address (for identity verification and account security) and password (as your exclusive login credentials). The legal basis for our processing of these types of data is your consent and to protect the vital interests of the security of your account.
If you refuse to provide the above information, you will not be able to complete the account registration process, and it will affect the normal use of Hi Rokid.
(2) Device Interconnection and Command Transmission
In order to realize the secure interconnection and interactive control of Hi Rokid with our servers and your phone, we will collect the following information:
1) Network identification information: including IP address, network connection status (Wi-Fi/mobile data), and device unique serial number (SN).
2) Interaction information: your account ID, Bluetooth connection status.
3) Device operation information: current device firmware version, security certificate status.
The legal basis for our processing of these types of data is your consent and our legitimate interests in keeping our products functioning properly.If you refuse to provide the above information, the normal use of the core functions of Hi Rokid may be affected.
(3) Intelligent Voice Interaction
When you use the basic functions of voice interaction, we will collect the following information: the content of your voice audio and commands, device and account identification information, related application and device status information, and geographic location information based on network location. The purpose of collecting such information is to analyse the voice content within the same device, complete the voice semantic recognition, and generate corresponding text or operation commands, in order to realize the control, linkage, and interaction of our Hi Rokid and its associated applications, and to provide you with basic voice control services.
If you turn on and use the AI enhancement function in voice interaction (such as intelligent dialog, etc.), we will collect additional information (such as images, videos, text supplementary information) provided by you voluntarily. This information will be recognized, extracted and transcribed into dialog text to generate corresponding response results for richer AI dialog features. In order to ensure the coherence of the conversation and to fulfil our statutory obligations, we will retain your conversation historyas well as the resulting contextual background, interactive behaviour, and feedback informationfor as long as reasonably necessary.
The legal basis for our processing of these types of data is your consent. If you do not agree to authorize us to collect and use the above information, some or all of the services of this feature will not be able to be used normally, but it will not affect the use of Hi Rokid.
(4) Intelligent Content Generation
When you use the intelligent content generation features, such as information summary refinement, intelligent summarization of meetings, and third-party intelligent plug-ins, we collect text, images, audio and video materials that you voluntarily provide. The purpose of collecting this information is to intelligently process the information you input and efficiently generate personalized text content such as summaries and overviews for you.
The legal basis for our processing of these types of data is your consent. If you do not agree to authorize us to collect and use the above information, some or all of the services of this feature will not be able to be used normally, but it will not affect the use of Hi Rokid.
(5) Real-time Voice Translation
When you enable this feature, we will obtain the following information about you:what you input through your device’s audio.The above information may be transmitted to the server side for the purpose of recognizing and processing the text content in the voice, so as to provide you with real-time voice translation and other related services.
The legal basis for our processing of these types of data is your consent. If you do not agree to authorize us to collect and use the above information, some or all of the services of this feature will not be able to be used normally, but it will not affect the use of the Hi Rokid.
(6) Safe Operation
We will collect your hardware model, operating system version number, phone status information, device identification information, storage device information, ANDROID_ID, IP Address, ICCID, IMEI, MAC address, IDFA, application installation list and error log information to enhance the safe operation of the software and services, the quality of the operation and efficiency.
The legal basis for our processing of these types of data is your consent and our legitimate interests in keeping the quality, efficiency, and safety of the operation of Hi Rokid.If you do not agree to authorize us to collect and process the above data, some or all of the services of the feature will not be available for normal use, but will not affect the use of the Hi Rokid.
(7) Troubleshooting and Technical Support
In the process of using this product, if you encounter device malfunction or abnormal operation and submit relevant feedback, we may collect the following data: device identifier (such as MAC address), basic device information (such as serial number SN and account ID), operation logs recorded by you, description of the malfunction (including textual descriptions, pictures, videos, and other malfunction-related information), and historical feedback records. The collection of the above data is intended to help us accurately understand the problem situation, verify the fault phenomenon, and promptly follow up the solution.
In order to improve service quality and technical support efficiency, we may use your Rokid account, associated device information, cell phone number, nickname, avatar, log-in behaviour records, order information and other content, or contact you through the product's built-in customer service system, in order to promptly communicate with you about the progress of the problem, provide a solution, or file the results of the process. In this process, we may save the content of communication between you and customer service, call recordings and related supplementary materials.
The legal basis for our processing of these types of data is your consent and our legitimate interests in resolving errors or synchronisation issues and providing high-quality product support.If you do not agree to authorize us to collect and use the above data, some or all of the services of this feature will not work properly, but will not affect the use of the Hi Rokid.
(8) Service Optimization and Experience Enhancement
In the course of improving the performance of our products and the quality of our services, we may collect other information related to your use of the Services. Such information may include specific behavioural data n your use of the service, time periods of use, models of equipment used and related device identifiers, IP addresses, error logs generated during the operation of the service, and so on. By analysing these data, we can better understand the user's experience in actual operation and accordingly continue to optimize product features and service quality. At the same time, we may also integrate the information obtained from your different devices in order to provide you with a more coherent and unified experience.

(9) Information Push and User Feedback Collection
In order to facilitate your timely access to our latest product news and related notifications, we may use the personal data you provide when registering for an account (e.g., cell phone number, date of birth, gender etc.) to send you relevant information via SMS, in-app notifications or email. In addition, in order to continuously optimize the experience of our Hi Rokid, we may also combine the basic information and device identification information (such as the device serial number) provided by you to carry out user satisfaction surveys, collection of feedback on the use of our products and return visits related to service improvement.
The legal basis for our processing of these types of data is your consent and our legitimate interests in optimizing the users’ experience and informing you with the latest information. If you do not agree to authorize us to collect and use the above information, some or all of the services of this feature will not be able to be used normally, but will not affect the use of Hi Rokid.
You know and agree that on the premise of not disclosing your personal data and not violating relevant laws and regulations, we have the right to analyse and process user data, including but not limited to the use of technologically processed dialogue information to improve Hi Rokid product intelligent agent’s ability to understand the content of your inputs, so as to continuously improve the speed and quality of the recognition and response of the intelligent agent of the Hi Rokid product, as well as to improve its intelligence.
2. Who Are the Recipients of Your Personal Data
We don’t sell any of your personal data to anyone, and we never will. We also require the recipients of your personal data to follow rules about how they can and cannot use and disclose the personal data we provide.
We may share your data with the following categories recipients:
(1)Our affiliates and subsidiaries.
(2)Service vendors (e.g., translation services providers, AI services providers, Cloud service providers, etc.).
(3)Legal, regulatory, or law enforcement authorities (when required by law or to protect our legitimate interests).

3. How We Store and Protect Your Personal Data
3.1 Location of Data Storage
We will store your personal data collected and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy at Singapore.
3.2 Data Storage Period
We keep your personal data as long as we need it to provide our Products, comply with legal obligations or protect our or other’s interests. We decide how long we need personal data on a case-by-case basis. Here’s what we consider when we decide:
(1) If we need it to operate or provide our products and services, and respond to your requests (such as inquiries or complaints), etc. For example, we need to keep some of your information to maintain your account.
(2) The feature we use it for, and how that feature works.

4.1 The right to access – You have the right to request us for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
4.2 The right to rectification –You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request us to complete information you believe is incomplete.
4.3 The right to erasure –You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
4.4 The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
4.5 The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
4.6 The right to withdraw consent at anytime -You can contact us to withdraw your consent or change the scope of the relevant consent at any time.
4.7 How to delete your account
You can delete your account in the Hi Rokid app (going to ‘Me’ - ‘Account Management’ - ‘Delete Account’) or by contacting us to delete your account as set out in Section 4.8 of this Privacy Policy. After deletion of your account, unless otherwise required by applicable law or regulation, we will stop providing the Services to you and will delete or anonymise your personal data at your request.

To protect the security of your account and your personal data, we may require you to provide a written request, and we may also ask you to provide relevant information to verify your identity before processing your request and/or complaint. Generally, we will respond within thirty (30) days.
5. Cookies and Other Similar Technologies
We use technologies such as cookies, tags and scripts. These technologies are used to analyse trends, administer the website, track users’ website activity and gather demographic information about our entire user base. We receive individual and aggregated reports from these companies based on the use of the technologies described above. Log Files: We collect certain information and store it in log files. Such information may include IP addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We do not link automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.
6. International Transfer of Your Personal Data
When we transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure that your data is protected in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

7. Protection of Minors’ Personal Data
To comply with applicable laws, we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from minors under the 18, we will take prompt action to delete such data.
8. How We Update This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy will come into effect on the effective date shown below the title. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. When there is a substantial change to the content of this Privacy Policy, we will display the amended policy to you in a push notification, pop-up window, or other appropriate way that complies with the requirements of the law. However, if you do not agree with the amendment we have made to this Privacy Policy, please stop using Hi Rokid after such notices have been posted.

We will not, and never will, sell any of your personal information.
11.3 Use By Children
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 18 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete such data as required by applicable laws.

A. Right to know about the personal information we collect, disclose, and share - The CCPA gives you the right to request that we disclose the specific pieces of personal information we have collected.
