Rokid International Limited and its affiliates (“We”, “Our”, or “Us”) provides innovative augmented reality services and products through our websites, applications, content, hardware, and software. This Privacy Policy will explain the purposes of the processing, the identity of the controller, and the existence of the rights of the data subjects.

When you connect Rokid Glasses with ‘Hi Rokid’ App, we will collect and process certain types of personal data for the following purposes and legal basis:

(3) Intelligent voice interaction
When you use our intelligent voice interaction services (such as when you say the wake ward ‘Hi Rokid’, or when you use voice commands to have Hi Rokid take photos or perform other services), we will collect and process certain types of personal data for the following purposes and legal basis:

(4) AI Assistant
When you use the AI Assistant, we will collect and process certain types of personal data for the following purposes and legal basis:

If you do not provide us with the aforementioned data, it is technically impossible to provide you with AI Assistant services or to obtain your feedback. You can clear your ‘Chat history’ in the ‘Glasses settings’ page (you can visit this page by clicking the cog icon in the top-right corner of the App).
(5) AI transcription and AI summary
When you use the AI transcription and AI summary under the ‘Recording’ function, we will collect and process certain types of personal data for the following purposes and legal basis:

(6) Real-time voice translation
When you use the real-time voice translation, we will collect and process certain types of personal data for the following purposes and legal basis:

(7) Navigation
When you use the navigation, we will collect and process certain types of personal data for the following purposes and legal basis:

If you do not provide us with the ‘Information you have entered’, or if we do not collect and process the rest aforementioned data, it is technically impossible to provide you with navigation services. You can clear the ‘historical navigation records’ by yourself from the App.
(8) Glass Pay (This feature is currently only available to the users in the Hong Kong SAR.)
To provide you with convenient and secure ‘Glass Pay’ services, we will collect and process certain types of personal data for the following purposes and legal basis:

When using ‘Glass pay’ for the first time, you may need to link your AlipayHK account and complete identity verification as required by AlipayHK. During this process, AlipayHK may collect and process your biometric credentials such as your voiceprint. For specific details, please refer to the information displayed on the AlipayHK ‘Glass Pay’ page.
If we do not collect and process the aforementioned data, it is technically impossible to activate ‘Glass Pay’ services through voice interaction.
(9) Tip
When you use the Tips, we will collect and process certain types of personal data for the following purposes and legal basis:

It is essential for us to collect and process the aforementioned data, in order to optimize our services and enhance user’s experience, and to provide you with secure and stable services.
(14) Access permission which we may request
During your use of our services, we may request and access the following permissions on your mobile device:
- Permission to access the local network
- Permission to push notifications
- Permission to obtain location information
- Permission to turn on the Bluetooth
- Permission to obtain contacts information
- Permission to access photo library or album
- Permission to view calendar events
- Permission to read clipboard contents
- Permission to run background services
- Permission to retrieve installed application lists
You may decide to disable all or specific permissions. Disabling permissions will affect corresponding functions of ‘Hi Rokid’ but will not impact other functionalities. The display and way of disabling permissions may vary depending on your phone model and operating system version. Please refer to your device’s manual or user guide for specific instructions.
It should be specifically noted that our glasses devices exist in different versions with varying functions; furthermore, functions may vary depending on the region in which the glasses device is used. Should the glasses device you are using not support certain features mentioned above, we shall not collect or process your personal data in relation to such scenarios. The scope of personal data we collect and process shall be determined by the features available on the glasses devices you are using.
2. Who Are the Recipients of Your Personal Data
We don’t sell any of your personal data to anyone, and we never will. We also require the recipients of your personal data to follow rules about how they can and cannot use and disclose the personal data we provide.
We may share your data with the following categories recipients:
(1)Our affiliates and subsidiaries.
(2)Service vendors (e.g., translation services providers, navigation services providers, AI services providers, Cloud service providers, etc.).
(3)Legal, regulatory, or law enforcement authorities (when required by law or to protect our legitimate interests).
(4)Transaction counterparties (in the event of a business reorganization, acquisition, or sale of assets).
3. How We Store and Protect Your Personal Data
3.1 Location of Data Storage
We will store your personal data collected and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy at Singapore.
3.2 Data Storage Period
We keep your personal data as long as we need it to provide our Products, comply with legal obligations or protect our or other’s interests. We decide how long we need personal data on a case-by-case basis. Here’s what we consider when we decide:
(1) If we need it to operate or provide our products and services, and respond to your requests (such as inquiries or complaints), etc. For example, we need to keep some of your information to maintain your account.
(2) The feature we use it for, and how that feature works.
(3) How long we need to retain your personal data to comply with certain legal obligations. For example, we retain data for as long as we need it for legal request or obligation; governmental investigation; legal claim, complaint, litigation or regulatory proceedings.
(4) If we need it for other legitimate purposes, such as to prevent harm; investigate possible violations of our terms or policies; promote safety, security and integrity; or protect ourselves, including our rights, property or products.
(5) Special agreements between you and us regarding the storage period of personal data.

4. Your Personal Data Protection Rights
4.1 The right to access – You have the right to request us for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
4.2 The right to rectification –You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request us to complete information you believe is incomplete.
4.3 The right to erasure –You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
4.4 The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
4.5 The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
4.6 The right to withdraw consent at anytime -You can contact us to withdraw your consent or change the scope of the relevant consent at any time.
4.7 How to delete your account
You can delete your account in the Hi Rokid app (going to ‘Me’ - ‘Account Management’ - ‘Delete Account’) or by contacting us to delete your account as set out in Section 4.8 of this Privacy Policy. After deletion of your account, unless otherwise required by applicable law or regulation, we will stop providing the Services to you and will delete or anonymise your personal data at your request.

To protect the security of your account and your personal data, we may require you to provide a written request, and we may also ask you to provide relevant information to verify your identity before processing your request and/or complaint. Generally, we will respond within thirty (30) days.
5. Cookies and Other Similar Technologies
We use technologies such as cookies, tags and scripts. These technologies are used to analyse trends, administer the website, track users’ website activity and gather demographic information about our entire user base. We receive individual and aggregated reports from these companies based on the use of the technologies described above. Log Files: We collect certain information and store it in log files. Such information may include IP addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We do not link automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.
6. International Transfer of Your Personal Data
When we transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure that your data is protected in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

7. Protection of Minors’ Personal Data
To comply with applicable laws, we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from minors under the 18, we will take prompt action to delete such data.
8. How We Update This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy will come into effect on the effective date shown below the title. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. When there is a substantial change to the content of this Privacy Policy, we will display the amended policy to you in a push notification, pop-up window, or other appropriate way that complies with the requirements of the law. However, if you do not agree with the amendment we have made to this Privacy Policy, please stop using Hi Rokid after such notices have been posted.

11.2 Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We will not, and never will, sell any of your personal information.
11.3 Use By Children
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 18 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete such data as required by applicable laws.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate action.

A. Right to know about the personal information we collect, disclose, and share - The CCPA gives you the right to request that we disclose the specific pieces of personal information we have collected. The categories of personal information we collect about you, the sources from which we collect such personal information, the purposes for collecting and sharing such personal information, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose personal information are described above and in the main Privacy Policy from which you were directed to this policy.
